- Remove Bijur Lube Line. If your machine is equipped with only
and oil fitting, it will be necessary to attach the bijur system
to the pickup. A number 3 restrictor in the line will be necessary
to ensure proper lubrication of the rolls.
- Loosen both 1/4-24 Square Head Screws (837-10-6)
- Loosen both 3/8-16 Hex Head Bolts (835-14-24)
- Loosen both 3/8-16 Socket Head Set Screws (836-14-8)
- Loosen 1/4-24 Square Head Screws (837-10-8) [not shown]
- Remove Turnbuckle Pin (5080-226-50)
- Remove Actuating Arm Pin (1263-14)
- Remove Actuating Arm (1266-4)
- Remove Yoke (1266-4)
- Remove both Bronze Shoes (1263-13) and Pins (1263-12)
- Replace with Pins (NP-1263-12-P) and Slide on Rolls (NP-1263-13-R)
- Reassemble in reverse order
- Adjust opening and closing turnbuckles so fulcrum or wedge chuck
will not over close.
- Cycle machine and check for proper operation of Burring Spindle
